Kytherian Collectiva

Collectiva 2025

follow your art gallery is pleased to invite the public to its fifth consecutive group exhibition with the title “Kytherian Collectiva”.

Since its founding, follow your art has remained committed to promoting artists connected to the island of Kythera—whether by origin, residence, or deep personal affinity. The gallery serves as a space for these artists to express their ideas with immediacy and creative freedom.

Kythera is home to a vibrant artistic community, including both formally trained and self-taught creators. Many live and work on the island year-round, while others maintain a strong artistic bond from afar. What unites them all is a shared passion for Kythera and the arts.

The idea of a collaborative exhibition showcasing diverse artistic voices began in 2012 with the annual show "Big Crisis Small Art," which ran for seven consecutive years. After a brief hiatus in 2019 due to the pandemic, the initiative was revived in 2020 under its current title, "Kytherian Collectiva."

This exhibition welcomes participation from artists at all stages of their careers, encouraging creative expression without rigid guidelines or thematic constraints. The result is a vibrant, multi-dimensional presentation that embraces the full spectrum of contemporary artistic practice.

"Kytherian Collectiva" is more than an exhibition - it is a celebration of community, creativity, and the enduring spirit of the island’s cultural life.
